Material Composition: BSY fabric is typically made of polyester. It is created by combining two different types of polyester yarns (partially oriented yarn – POY and fully drawn yarn – FDY) that have different shrinkage rates. Unique Texture: During the manufacturing process (often in the finishing stage), the differential shrinkage causes one component of the yarn to shrink more than the other, making the lower-shrink component form micro-loops that come out of the fabric surface. This process creates the distinctive bulkiness, soft touch, and good drape of BSY fabric. “Dyed Print” Process: This term indicates that the fabric is colored using dyeing techniques, where the color is absorbed into the fibers, and then patterns are applied via printing techniques.
